Alchemy Spice Company Fat Elvis Memphis Dry Rub

It wasn't the sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll that brought Elvis to his late-model plumpness; it was the Memphis dry ribs.  This rib rub borrows from Memphis's dry rub tradition, offering a great paprika and cayenne based rub, expressing just the right amount of attitude.  Feel free to use this on chicken, burgers, and steaks as well.

 

Ingredients: ancho pepper, brown sugar, cardamom, cayenne, celery seed, shilies, cloves, cumin, coriander, garlic, Mexican oregano, mustard seed, onion, paprika, sea salt, tellicherry pepper.
