How do I order a Gift Card?
You may order a gift card from us by calling 1.877.MIA CUCINA and selecting the online store option. Gift cards that are mailed by themselves have no shipping or handling charges.
Will you gift wrap?
We will certainly gift wrap an item for you. We'll gift wrap all items over $50 for no charge, and gift wrap items under $50 for a $3.50 charge. All bridal registry items are gift wrapped at no charge.
What is the Cook’s Club?
The Cooks Club is a program we use to reward our best customers. We are currently cooking up some new incentives, and we'll post that information as soon as it's ready.
Can you help me with business gifts and large orders?
We would love to help you with business gifts and large orders! We have a great selection of gift baskets available for different occasions—promotions, house closings, weddings, births, Christmas, and birthdays. For a business gift or a custom gift basket please call 1.877.MIA CUCINA and select the option for the Hamilton Corners store. For large orders please call theplaceforcooks.com at 1.877.MIA CUCINA. Large orders are often discounted.
Is my information secure?
We do not share your name, address, or email address with anyone outside theplaceforcooks.com or Mia Cucina, Inc. In addition, we have ensured that your credit card information is safe to use in our online store.
Why is my item from Alchemy Spice Company in a Le Creuset box?
At Mia Cucina and theplaceforcooks.com we strive to protect the environment--so your order may arrive in previously used packing and packaging. We receive many shipments during any given week and we save the boxes and packing material for reuse. What kind of payment can I use for my purchases?
For online purchases, we accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept Gift Certificates, Gift Cards, and Merchandise Credits. To purchase items with a gift certificate, gift card, or merchandise credit, please call us at 1.877.MIA CUCINA.

Do I have to pay Tennessee sales tax?
We must collect Tennessee sales tax for all items shipped to Tennessee.
What shipping method do you use?
Most of our items are shipped via DHL Ground, but some items, like frying pans, are shipped via USPS. If tracking information is available for your item(s), we’ll include it in your shipping confirmation email.
Will I be charged for my backorder when the order is placed or when it is shipped?
You aren’t charged for backorders until the item has been shipped. There is no additional charge to ship backorder items. Shipping charges are simply prorated to reflect the item being shipped.

RETURN POLICIES
- Mia Cucina/theplaceforcooks.com must receive the item(s) within 30 days of the purchase.
- Each item must be in unused condition and in the original packaging.
- Returns with the original purchase receipt will be exchanged or refunded in the original tender.
- Returns with a gift receipt, including gift-registry returns, will be exchanged or refunded for the value indicated on the gift receipt in the form of a merchandise credit.
- Returns without the original purchase receipt, including gift-registry returns, will be exchanged or refunded at the current selling price in the form of a merchandise credit.

Returns by Mail
To return an item by mail, please follow these guidelines:
- Complete the Return Form which you can download here. (If you’re unable to download the form please call us at 1.877.MIA CUCINA and we’ll fax it to you.) Please indicate the reason for the return and the action to be taken, such as refund, replacement, or merchandise credit. Place the Return Form in the box with your merchandise.
- If you do not have your original invoice or gift receipt, please tell us on the Return Form when and where (online or in the land-based store) the item was purchased.
- Package the item securely and use the shipping carrier most convenient for you (you should insure the package as Mia Cucina/theplaceforcooks.com cannot assume any liability for returning packages). Send the package to the following address, where your return will be processed according to your instructions:

How much time do I have to return an item?
There is a 30 day time limit on all returns. Some items are final sale only, and these items are clearly noted on the site. All items to be returned for refund or merchandise credit must be in unused condition and in the original packaging.
Will I be refunded shipping costs on a return?
Unfortunately we can only refund the cost of the item purchased. However, if you exchanging an item that is defective or was broken during shipping we’ll send you a pre-paid label for returning the merchandise and we will ship the replacement to you at no additional charge. Please insure all returns as Mia Cucina/theplaceforcooks.com cannot assume liability for returning packages.
How are returned items credited back to me?
We will credit the original credit card used to make the purchase. Purchases made via coupon, Gift Certificate, Merchandise Credits, and gift orders are refunded as a Merchandise Credit.
How long does it take to process a return?
We will process your return within five business days of receipt. Most refund transactions take from three to six weeks to be reflected on your credit card statement.
